Meetup Description: Historically, mid-April is the best time to visit the BROT for spectacular, blanketed fields of bluebells! This bluebell stand is said to be one of the largest in the eastern United States. Fingers & paws crossed we'll be there just at the right time to enjoy them!
Please do not RSVP unless you are
sure you can attend. If you
don't know for sure, then please wait until closer to the date before you RSVP. Do not RSVP just to hold a spot for yourself, it is unfair to other members.

Trail Type: Loop & out and back combination
Distance: ~5-miles
Difficulty: Easy (see our
Trail Rating System for more details)
Hiking Time: 2.5-hours (including dawdle time)
Facilities: Restrooms, payphone, water, campsites available
Fees: Non-Fairfax County residents pay a per vehicle fee of $7
Restrictions: Leashes required at all times, bring a long lead for water play
What to Bring: Appropriate clothing and footwear for expected weather, poo bags, plenty of water for you and your dog, a snack or lunch for you and your dog, a towel and a camera!!

Carpooling:For those of us who live outside of Fairfax County, we'll put together a carpool at the Centreville Park-n-Ride lot just a few miles north of Bull Run so we can drive to the park together and share on the entrance fees. More details will be available as we get closer to the date and figure out who all will be there.
