Introduction

I'm relatively new to the area and Otis (chocolate lab), Tank (yellow lab) and I are looking for trail, trips and fun this spring, summer and fall.

Please describe the dog(s) you own: name, breed, age, sex, etc... so we can get to know a little more about our new pack member(s)!

Otis - 5 yr old male Chocolate Lab - his mom and dad met in a park in Savannah, GA. He's been with me since he was 3 months old. He has a lot of anxiety, so exercise helps him relax. Tank - 4 yr old male yellow lab mix. He's alpha in every way.

What are you looking for in a trail club? Describe what you hope to get out of the group and what can you contribute to the group.

Tank is my short distance sprinter, built like a barrel. Otis is my long distance runner - tall with long legs. We want to meet like people and dogs and get some exercise. We love to be outside and would like to learn about more trails.

What does your ideal day outdoors involve? Please give the name and location of your favorite local hike or walk and describe the trail for us. Is it rocky, is there much elevation change, does it involve water, etc...

Hiking, jogging, playing in an open filed. Spontaneity - let the environment dictate the day.

Have you and your dog(s) earned any titles or are you working towards any titles? Agility, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), working dog, pack dog, water dog, therapy dog, etc... ???

Very interesting - we are not working on any titles, but I'd be interested to learn more. I think Tank would be a great therapy dog - he loves people and children especially.
