Introduction

I just relocated from San Francisco in June and was used to daily off lead hikes at the beach and surrounding hills and mountains in the Bay Area with my dog. Looking to find the same here in NOVA.

Please describe the dog(s) you own: name, breed, age, sex, etc... so we can get to know a little more about our new pack member(s)!

Jesse is a 2.5 year old red & rust Doberman Pinscher. He enjoys long walks on the beach and chasing things. Seriously.

What are you looking for in a trail club? Describe what you hope to get out of the group and what can you contribute to the group.

Looking to meet others that that believe a dog is a must-have companion on a hike. Jesse and I can provide comic relief and poop bags. :)

What does your ideal day outdoors involve? Please give the name and location of your favorite local hike or walk and describe the trail for us. Is it rocky, is there much elevation change, does it involve water, etc...

Ideal days outdoors involved hiking through the dunes and beaches of Fort Funston in San Francisco. We've also been on long (10+ miles), high elevation hikes in Portola Valley and Tahoe.

Have you and your dog(s) earned any titles or are you working towards any titles? Agility, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), working dog, pack dog, water dog, therapy dog, etc... ???

No titles. Jesse's my devoted canine companion and that's enough for us.
