Introduction

We just returned to northern Virginia from a brief hiatus up north and are eager to get out and explore!

Please describe the dog(s) you own: name, breed, age, sex, etc... so we can get to know a little more about our new pack member(s)!

Weimaraner; male; 7 mos. - While Atlas has his moments, so far he seems to be missing the crazy gene characteristic of most Weims.

What are you looking for in a trail club? Describe what you hope to get out of the group and what can you contribute to the group.

We're looking for an opportunity to get some exercise outdoors and learn a little about the area, and if we meet new friends along the way, all the better.

What does your ideal day outdoors involve? Please give the name and location of your favorite local hike or walk and describe the trail for us. Is it rocky, is there much elevation change, does it involve water, etc...

Our ideal day outdoors involves great scenery, a little challenge, a shady spot to rest, and some relatively clean water to play in, in no particular order.

Have you and your dog(s) earned any titles or are you working towards any titles? Agility, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), working dog, pack dog, water dog, therapy dog, etc... ???

Not yet, but we're interested in pursuing the CGC and becoming recognized as a therapy dog.
