Annapolis Rock is a popular destination for hiking and climbing with a pretty, westward facing view of the Cumberland Valley. We'll follow the Appalachian Trail along a wide and well maintained section with a brief uphill climb at the beginning, rocky for some portions. The trail flattens out and maintains a level ridge line walk for the second half of the hike.
