If you've never been to this trail head, your best bet is to really pay attention to the google map and image. I assume you can find the intersection of Compton and 28. Just keep coming south carefully, and pull off to your right into a gravel lot just before you cross the bridge. If you see a BP on your right, you've gone too far. It's quite obvious if you are paying attention, but not marked with any large signs. DO NOT GET CONFUSED AND GO TO THE COUNTY PARK. It is far away from this spot....

If it's a far drive, especially, i wouldn't try it with a recovering knee. The trail is not very hard, but it is likely to be muddy, and the dogs will be OFF LEASH at times, and there's always some clutz who "sweeps the knee". Rest up and come next time, is my personal advice, though if you come I'll hang back with you- I'll have a baby on my back, so I have to be careful about slipping, too!

I am not into the MAYBE button. I figure you can either plan for tomorrow or you can't. Since there is no RSVP limit, you can show up, but I don't like the vagueness of a maybe.
